Menicon SC GmbH was founded in April 2024. A lot has happened in this year and we are getting closer and closer to our goal of improving our strategic and modern alignment, optimising the supply chain from A-Z in its processes and providing our customers with an excellent high delivery performance.
How do we achieve this? By developing from a manual logistics warehouse into a highly efficient and automated distribution centre at our Offenbach site. Since February, conveyor belts have been installed in our logistics halls, cubes have been set up for our warehousing and work has been carried out on the electrics and IT interface. It won't be long before the first orders are travelling along the conveyor belts.
We have also made top personnel changes in the past year. Our first MSC apprentice has successfully completed his training and is now working for us as an IT administrator, and we have also expanded the team in the area of supply chain expertise in order to realise our vision.
In addition to faster product availability, product safety is our top priority. To fulfil this, we achieved ISO 13485 certification in January 2025. A milestone for us in quality assurance.
